 We are Geert Peeters and Monica Bluijssen. Since January of 2002 we live in Saint Laurent. Up till then we were living in Brabant in the Netherlands where Geert was a self employed carpenter and Monica had her own Haptonomy practice. For years our heart went out to France and we toured the country many times during our holidays. We were constantly looking for the ideal spot to realize our common goal: to create a new life for ourselves in a warm and soft climate with the motto: Nature-Repos-Santé. Finaly we chose for Lot-et-Garonne, just south of Dordogne, where we encountered the ideal climate for our taste. They call Lot-et-Garonne the California of France for a good reason. In Saint Laurent we bought an old water mill with a terrain of four hectare. In the water mill we built several gîtes, a guest room and a holiday home, preserving the original character as much as possible. |
On the terrain we created a mini camping and a swimming pool.And because we love animals we created a children's farm with goats, sheep, chickens and chinese pigs as well. Since 2005 the quarters for the guests are completely ready and we realised all new sanitary for the mini camping. The winter months we use for maintenance and our new plans. From April to November we gladly entertain our guests.  |
